Cleaning up.

Hubby and I are trying to clean up and donate some stuff to the Habitat of humanity. He already took some chairs to donate. TV is coming up but it's just to heavy to carry. We also have a lot of baby stuff to donate. We are planning of giving it to family or friends but we don't have any one to give. So, we decided to just donate it. Hopefully, we can give it away soon so that we can have space. Have a good night all.

Gloomy day.

Woke up and outside looks like it's going to rain or snow. It might be a cold day today. No grcery shopping for sure. We'll do it tomorrow after going to check on Maddie's preschool. Also, hubby has to go to Costco for wheel alignment on my car. Hopefully, it will be a quick one. Got to go. Have a good day all.

Emailing parents

My husband is a teacher and he always has crazy stories about the parents of the students that he teaches. Apparently, the parents have access to my husband’s grade book online. My husband told me that this is new as of last year. When I was in high school, my parents had no idea what was going on with my grades until my report card was sent home at the end of each semester. I am also pretty sure that I had some teachers that made up grades for students based on their behavior in class. These days, the parents look at every grade for the students and if they have any questions or issues, they immediately email the teacher. My husband had an email from an upset parent the other day that he delayed responding to until he got home. He was pretty worked up about it and wanted to get my input before he sent his response. I am glad that we now have internet at our house so he can do that. I found our internet provider by searching for “wireless internet service Lowell” and we have been pleased thus far. I helped my husband with his response to the parent and I think that his response was professional. The parent was upset that his child had a zero on a test, but the student had been caught cheating in class. I think that a lot of kids these days are enabled by their parents who refuse to provide discipline at home.

Sending a box home.

Today, I just packed my box to send to the Philippines. It's done with the help of my two little angles. They also had fun filling and taping the box. Now, it is ready to be shipped. First, I need to call the agent to pick it up but I prefer weekend pick-up though. Anyway, hubby asked if we went out today because it was the warmest day of the week but we didn't. Well, maybe next time for sure we'll go walking outside.

On my Own

I recently graduated from college, and am just starting out on my own for the first time. I obviously lived away from my parents while I was in college, but they were still paying most of my bills. Getting ready for a long drive.

Tomorrow, we are going to buy some things that we might need for our long drive home. I am really not excited to a long drive again. The last time was tiring specially with two kids in tow. I am hoping for patient and lots of it. Hopefully, they will cooperate with this long journey specially that Jarod is not feeling well. He is having a old symptom after a bad stomach bug. Poor baby. All I can ask if from guide most specially to blessed us our long way home. God blessed us all.
