Hoping for a visit.

Hubby asked me if my mom wanted to come visit me for my birthday. I said I have to ask her. Hubby will pay for her ticket but apparently she wants to work because she just got back from the Philippines and there's a lot of credit card bills to pay. I was hoping that she will come considering that it's a free ticket but I guess not. Maybe next time.
